Diamond Trade Policy

The Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS), developed in 2003 by governments, non-governmental organizations and the diamond industry to eradicate conflict diamonds from the world's diamond supply, and the Clean Diamond Trade Act of 2003 provided a framework for building a global diamond market where 99% of diamonds are presently sourced free of conflict. Moijey has taken additional measures against the conflict diamond trade by developing a conflict diamond compliance program which requires our diamond vendors to provide proof of warranty from their sources of diamond merchandise.

Moijey’s conflict diamonds compliance program was adapted to include the Kimberley Process chain of warranties. This further supports Moijey’s guarantee that their diamonds and diamond-containing jewelry products sold at Moijey.com are conflict-free.
